Some dreams never truly disappear. They simply wait for the right time to take flight again.

In the late 1990’s, I created The Culinary Fairy, because I simply loved cooking for my friends and thought, “Why not share my love of cooking with others”? What began as a side hustle quickly became something special. I prepared meals for families in their homes, cooked for friends and co-workers from the Sterling Casino ship where I loved working, and discovered there was nothing more rewarding than creating convenient meals that bring family and friends together.
Life, however has a way of leading us on unexpected adventures.
My entrepreneurial spirit took me down a new road, traveling throughout the country selling educational S.T.E.M. toys.

I loved meeting families, sharing products that inspired children’s imaginations, and exploring places I had never seen before.
Then the pandemic brought the trade show industry to a standstill.
That led me back to my passion for food, this time through my own hot-dog cart. Kat’s Dogs wasn’t just about serving great dogs – it was about the conversations, the laughter, the familiar faces who came back week after week. Every customer left as a friend, and every day reminded me how much joy food can bring.
Then life took an unexpected turn.
Serious health challenges forced me to step away from the business I truly loved. There were surgeries, chemo, and a tough road to recovery. During those years, I often wondered if I’d ever be able to return to doing what filled my heart.
Thankfully, that chapter is behind me.
Today, I’m beginning a brand-new chapter in the beautiful Whitefish Chain of Lakes… returning to the work that has always brought me the greatest joy – sharing my love of cooking and making life a little easier, one delicious meal at a time.
After all these years, it feels as though I’ve come full circle.
So it’s true…
Some dreams never truly disappear. They simply wait for the right time to take flight again.

Welcome to the next chapter of The Culinary Fairy. I hope to be a part of your family’s traditions, celebrations, and cherished memories.
